Welcome!
I am a researcher affiliated with the Laurier Institute for the Study of Public Opinion and Policy (LISPOP). Broadly speaking, I am interested in transitional justice, human rights, and atrocity crimes involving marginalized and Indigenous peoples across spatial and temporal boundaries.
My quantitative and qualitative research encompasses three research projects: Reconciliation in Canada, domicide (the destruction of homes) and the human right to home globally, and displacement atrocity crimes. Please refer to my Current Book Projects pages for detailed information on each.
In addition to LISPOP, I am affiliated with the Centre for Research on Security Practices at Wilfrid Laurier University. Prior to my current positions, I was a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstruction, and the Department of Political Science at Western University. I completed my SSHRC-funded Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Calgary, an MA in Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University, and an Honours BA in History and International Studies at the University of Waterloo.
